On the Radio

The book originated with the theme of collections but the relationship between sound and books is also important. Stories were originally told rather than written; poetry comes from an oral tradition. How often have you listened to Book of the Week or heard a play on the radio? Radios, as do books, tell stories, they inform us about the world and give us something to treasure.

The book is 74x74mm when closed, lino printed on Southbank 250gsm paper, with digitally printed end papers and book band. The bookcloth cover is a similar colour to the 1960s Decca Debutante Transistor Radio.
